Innovation & Entrepreneurship

More than 90% of CEOs at large companies are dissatisfied with the innovation outcomes within their organizations. Not because they lack ambition, but because innovation too often remains a standalone initiative instead of becoming a strategic capability embedded throughout the business.

At the same time, entrepreneurs, start-ups, and scale-ups face a different challenge: how do you grow sustainably without losing yourself in operational complexity, investor expectations, and the constant pressure to prove your value time and again?

For more than a decade, Antwerp Management School has explored what drives successful innovation and entrepreneurship. Whether scaling innovation within an organization or building a new venture, success requires more than a strong idea. It takes strategic insight, ecosystems, and leadership.

"Every organization wants to innovate. But organizing innovation is something different from simply wanting it. It requires a deliberate choice for the right culture, structure, strategy and leaders who are willing to truly put it into practice."

The Art of Corporate Venturing

Type: partnership Mensura, Bpost, B-Tonic

This research project explores how corporates and start-ups can collaborate more effectively to strengthen innovation and growth, translating insights on corporate venturing into practical frameworks and guidance.

“Growth and scaling are not the same. A company can grow without truly scaling. Scaling means your organization, business model, and leadership evolve alongside your ambition, so that every new customer makes your business stronger, not more vulnerable.”
